Our litters are planned well in advance and take several things into consideration to produce the best looking, healthiest and happiest Labradors possible.

We plan our litters very carefully taking into consideration the strengths and weaknesses of both parents when aiming to improve our lines. All of our breeding parents are hip and elbow scored with annual eye clearances. We are also now progressively PRA testing all of our labradors throughout 2009 and 2010.

Although it is not possible to guarantee puppies free of genetic defects, we do our utmost to ensure the healthiest, true-to-type and most well-rounded Labrador puppy possible.

All Labztales puppies are raised in a family environment with plenty of interaction and socialisation during their time with us. We take great interest in where our puppies will end up when leaving us, as we want to ensure they are going onto be with loving families who will take just as much interest in their care and well- being throughout their lifetime.

Once our puppies are born they do not leave to go to their new homes until they are 8 weeks of age. While they are still with us they receive their first vaccination, regular intestinal worming and flea treatments, from 2 weeks of age, as well as a health clearance by a qualified veterinarian and microchip. With all of our litters we aim to help them become well socialised during their time here with us, this in turn helps them settle more easily into becoming an important part of your family.

We also provide a puppy pack which includes much needed information on your new companion as well as a feeding guide, their first heartworm treatment and worming tablets, some Labrador health information, vaccination record and a photo CD.

We plan each litter when we are ready to keep on a new pup for ourselves firstly and our aim is always to improve the Labrador breed throughout this.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee the sex or colour you are after will be available from upcoming litters, as it is up to mother nature as much as it is our planning and pairing of suitable parents. We will however certainly try to assist you with what you are looking for in your search for a new companion wherever possible.
